IAVT Hosts a special talk on “New Vaccine Approval Practices” delivered by Reber Genetics representatives

The Department of International Degree Program in Animal Vaccine Technology (IAVT) at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) recently hosted a distinguished seminar entitled “Practice of New Vaccine Approval”. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Chia-Jung Chang (Frank), Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer of Reber Genetics Group. The event was attended by IAVT faculty members along with Ph.D. candidates, Master’s students, and internship students, who actively participated in the session. Dr. Chang shared his extensive professional experience in the preparation of regulatory documents for new vaccine products, both within Taiwan and in international markets. His presentation offered valuable insights into the regulatory approval processes, addressing key requirements and challenges faced by biotechnology companies.

In addition to technical discussions, Dr. Chang also highlighted strategies for addressing business-related issues encountered during the vaccine registration process. His practical perspectives, combining scientific expertise with industry experience, provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between research, regulation, and commercialization. The seminar was met with strong engagement from students, who expressed great interest in the topic and maintained close attention throughout the presentation. The department emphasized that such academic–industry exchanges are essential to preparing students for future careers in vaccine research, development, and regulatory affairs.

The IAVT at NPUST remains committed to providing its students with opportunities to interact with industry leaders, thereby strengthening professional competencies and fostering innovation in the field of animal vaccine technology.
