IAVT International Students Team Secures 2nd Prize at 2025 NPUST Dragon Boat Race

On May 19, 2025, the International Degree Program in Animal Vaccine Technology (IAVT) team participated in the 2025 Dragon Boat Festival Fun Game at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST). Held in the University gyms, the team excelled, earning 2nd place among 12 competing teams from across the university in a lively land-based activity.

The game featured an inflatable dragon-shaped structure, where the IAVT team, composed of international students, worked together to navigate the air-filled dragon to a target as quickly as possible. The fastest team to complete the challenge emerged victorious, and the IAVT team’s coordination and speed earned them a well-deserved podium finish.

The Dragon Boat Festival is a significant cultural event, and this on-land activity brought a playful twist to the traditional festivities, fostering camaraderie among participants. The IAVT team’s success highlighted their unity and enthusiasm, reflecting the vibrant spirit of our international student community at NPUST.
